HTML for dummies is not too bad, but a much better choice is the following:
HTML for the World Wide Web with XHTML and CSS: Visual QuickStart Guide, Student Edition, 5th Edition
by Elizabeth Castro.
It is clear, well written and it has lots of useful examples.
You'll see this book on bookshelves of experienced web developers as well!Is there a good book or online tutorial to learn HTML that isnt to complicated and is in laymans terms?
A Google search might do the trick. Or hou about www.webmonkey.com. You might also find some links there. Is there a good book or online tutorial to learn HTML that isnt to complicated and is in laymans terms?

For heaven's sake: just google 'tutorial html'. You'll find a whole bunch of free ones. Sample them. That's what search engines are for.
