HTML (HyperText Markup Language) is the language that your Internet browser reads to show you the Web.

There are Web sites that can help you learn HTML. Here are two:

A. Using Word: After creating a Word document, click File, Save As. In the Save As dialogue box, click the down arrow in the Save as type drop-down list box (near the bottom of the dialogue box) and select 鈥榃eb Page鈥?from the menu. You will then get the option to title the page. Your Web page should display just as it does in Word.

To put your Web site onto the Internet, you will need server space. A server is a specialized computer devoted to putting pages on the Web. Most Internet service providers such space鈥攃heck with your service provider to learn how to utilize it.

B. Macromedia's Dreamweaver ($399) creates professional pages, but it can be tricky to learn. http://www.macromedia.com/software/dream鈥?/a> ).

C. Adobe鈥檚 GoLive ($399) offers a free 30-day trial.

D. Microsoft's FrontPage ($199) is not for all Web hosts. Be sure that before you sign up with a host to post a Web page, find out how the Web host handles FrontPage.

E. There are Web sites that offer HTML tutorials and templates. Here are a few:

鈼?Don't use Microsoft Frontpage. It is just plain junk and very difficult for newcomers. Dreamweaver is also very difficult for newcomers. It is meant for professional webmasters.

鈼?If you decide to use a WYSIWYG HTML Editor download http://www.coffeecup.com/ It is much easier to use.
After all the dust settles, try out the articles and free tutorials and tools for webmasters at the URL below. They also reveiw a lot of hosting providers in three categories: Free, Low Budget and Business.
First of all, if you need a free site, move it to Geocities. Tripod is so full of junk advertising that it loses the visitors interest and the worsens the appeal of your site.

Secondly, learn HTML from the links the other posters provided. It's not tough to learn.

And, obviously you haven't searched well enough if you're still asking. Have you done a search on HTML tutorials? You'll find what you need there.
Here is a great wesite someone had recommended to me that has helped a lot!
